Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born April 28 in 1967) was an American performer and actress. She began her acting career when she was in her teens. Her most well-known role is for her role as Maggie Beckett on the TV show Sliders, as well as as her character, Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the thriller-comedy movie Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised in Brookfield Connecticut as her mother was Karin Noble who was employed as a pay clerk as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer. There are three of her siblings.
