Meagan Monique Good was born on August 8th, 1981 in the Panorama City neighborhood of Los Angeles to Tyra Wardlow-Doyle her mother who was her manager during her teens and her father Leondis Leon Good is an LAPD police officer. Her family consisted of three siblings within Canyon Country in California and began acting in the age of four. Early in her career, she worked as an extra on television shows such as Doogie Howser Amen or M.D. Her first movie, "Friday", was released in 1995 as she was 13 years old. The film first caught the attention of her performance as teenage troubled Cisely Batiste in Eve's Bayou in 1997 for where she won two awards nominations including her first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nomination. Good performed in short films as well as on TV in the years. She began to take on more mature roles in the early years of 2000. The actress starred in the role of Nina in Cousin Skeeter a Nickelodeon T.V. She appeared as Nina on the Nickelodeon T.V. series Cousin SKeeter, from 1998 to 2001. Additionally, she played minor roles in the films House Party to the Last Minute (1998) as well as 3 Strikes (2000). She portrayed Vanessa Scott in the comedy My Wife and Kids. She appeared in D.E.B.S the action comedy film which was nominated for Best Actress at the Black Movie Awards in 2005. Then she appeared in movies such as You Get Served The Cookout, Venom One Missed call Waist Deep and The Love Guru. After a busy 2012 on T.V. Films, she played Mya In Think Like a Man with an ensemble of stars as well as playing the character of Ms. Stevens as Dysfunctional. Kara Killmer...........................Kara Killmer is an American actress best known for portraying the character of Sylvie Brett in the NBC drama series 'Chicago Fire. Killmer is originally from Texas, studied at Baylor University Waco Texas where she graduated with the BA in Fine Arts. In performing arts, her degree that she earned in the year 2010. In 2010, she began her career on screen in the web-series If Can Dream. After starring in numerous local shows, Kara Killmer made her on-screen debut in in the pilot part of the Simon Fuller's Hulu series If I Can Dream. The Hulu series If I Can dream revolves around the lives of a bunch of artists who reside in Hollywood California.
